Washington will experience an influx of talent form Northern Ireland this year as part of the "Rediscover Northern Ireland" programme. Dr. Philip Hammond, the festivals coordinator, will preview the event's programs and performers. Dr. Hammond will also perform, he is an accomplished composer and musician who studied at Queen's College (Belfast) and the Royal Irish Academy of Music (Dublin). The evening will also feature an excerpt of Solas Nua's next free play reading, "Midden".

Cost of the program is $15, including wine and hors d'oeuvres; reserve at 202-331-7282, ext 16, by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 27. Validated parking is available at the Colonial Parking garage on 20th Street between K and I Streets. (Enter the garage on left closest to I Street.)
