Druids, faeries, banshees, na Ridiri Rua, Fionn and the Fianna - Ireland

traditional beliefs in magic still permeate contemporary Irish society,
and examines the ways in which Irish film-makers use magic as a tool

Mise Joe Directed by Seán Ó Cualáin
Is mise Joe is an hour-long profile of one of the West of Ireland’s

humorous look at the pointlessness of man taking on nature.
Storm
Directed by Clare Langan
This poetic interpretation of the familiar is seen through the lens
as a vast uncompromising force of nature taking it to a place in the

highlighting mankind’s brief fragile existence in the face of
the apparently limitless forces of nature.

Waits as he investigates the murders of celebrity impersonators.
Lost
For Words Directed by Stephen Lally
Lost for Words is a musical with a twist. It tells the story of an eighteen
year old girl called Sarah, who has not uttered a word since her sister
Emily went missing ten years beforehand, and who has been consigned
to an institution by a parade of therapists who have all failed to reach
her. Isolating herself from the other young inmates, Sarah seeks solace
in her past and escapes into a realm of imaginary musicals. However,
her whole world is turned upside down when she is visited on the tenth
anniversary of her disappearance by her sister, and a fantastical, yet
warped variant on the classic Hollywood musical begins…
