Dubliner Alan Leonard is an award winning film director and writer. As director he won the Audience Award at Irish Film Institute Doc Fest 2019 and Best Picture at KIFF 2019 for his feature length music documentary ‘Heyday: The Mic Christopher Story’. His writing/directorial debut was the Sci Fi feature ‘Dark By Noon’ in 2013. He has previously worked as a story consultant and VFX artist.
