Spotlight on Cartoon Saloon's Irish Folklore Trilogy

Sunday, March 7th • Available from 9 AM ET

The second installment in Cartoon Saloon's "Irish folklore trilogy" — preceded by THE SECRET OF KELLS and followed by 2021 Capital Irish Film Festival selection WOLFWALKERS — this delightful animated adventure for the whole family follows precocious tyke Ben and his silent little sister Saoirse on an adventure to unlock the mystery of their ancestry. Based on the Irish legend of the mythological selkies (who live as seals in the water, but humans on land), filmmaker Tomm Moore — Academy Award® nominee for THE SECRET OF KELLS — once again enchants the eye with his dazzling visuals and imaginative evocation of Ireland's ancient tales. Featuring a score by Bruno Coulais and Irish band Kíla, and the voices of Brendan Gleeson and Fionnula Flanagan.

Please note: This title is available to viewers located anywhere in the United States and U.S. Territories.

Awards: Nominee, Best Animated Film, 2015 Academy Awards®.
