Solas Nua's Poetry Book Group meets on the third Monday of every month.

The first Solas Nua Poetry Book Group started in spring 2020, with the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic. The group meets on Zoom, where it remains, for now. Poetry selections have included established poets such as Seamus Heaney, Paula Meehan, and Eavan Boland. Emerging poets are of particular interest and have included Sean Hewitt, and  Doireann Ní Gríofa. Activities go beyond monthly discussions of a book, the group regularly collaborates with the Solas Nua team, giving valuable input into programming ideas.

There is no membership, anyone is free to join!
