Expanding on our tradition of providing Washington, DC with free Irish literature on St. Patrick’s Day for the last 20 years, Solas Nua is delighted to partner with Banshee Press to distribute free copies of Bebe Ashley’s poetry collection “Harbour Doubts” and Lucy Sweeney Byrne’s collection of short stories, “Let’s Dance.”
The winner of The Bookseller’s 2024 and 2025 “Small Press of the Year” award, Banshee Press is a small, independent publisher that shares Solas Nua’s dedication to cultivating rising Irish artists.
We’ll be in the Heurich House Beer Garden from noon until books run out. Stop by early to ensure you get a book!
